Connect with Claude and ChatGPT

You can manage your RapitekGO sites from your own Claude or ChatGPT account. The connection is set up once; you don't need to copy a key or download a program. This page walks through the steps for both assistants.

Short answer

You add RapitekGO to your assistant as a connector. The connector address is:

https://rapitekgo.com/mcp

This address is not a page that opens in your browser; it is the address the assistant connects to. While connecting, you sign in with your RapitekGO account, enter your verification code and choose which of your sites the assistant can reach, and with which permissions.

Changes the assistant makes are written to a draft; publishing stays your call. Publishing is a separate permission; if you don't grant it, the assistant prepares your site and visitors keep seeing the published version.

After you sign in, the AI screen in your panel lets you copy the address; the one-click setup button for Claude is there too.

Connect Claude in four steps

    Add the connector

    Your panel's "Connect to Claude" button opens claude.ai's add-connector window with RapitekGO's name and address filled in; by hand, use https://rapitekgo.com/mcp. If asked for an OAuth client, choose "Use Claude's published identity"; "Register automatically" won't connect.

    Press "Connect"

    Claude takes you to the RapitekGO sign-in screen.

    Sign in and enter your verification code

    Even if you are signed in to the studio, you sign in once more here and enter the code from your authenticator app: the consent screen opens on RapitekGO's main address, while your studio opens on your site's address.

    Choose sites and permissions

    Claude reaches only the sites you choose, with the permissions you choose. If you choose "All my sites", sites you open later also appear in the same connection. Viewing your site and preparing drafts is enough to start; publishing is a separate permission.

What to know about Claude

  • Turn it on in every chat: in the chat box, + → Connectors → RapitekGO must be on. If it is off, Claude does not see your site.
  • Phone: after you add the connector on a computer or in a phone browser, you can also use it in the Claude phone app. The QR code in your panel opens the add-connector window on your phone.
  • Plan: on Claude's free plan you can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans the organization owner adds the connector; then each member connects with their own RapitekGO account.
  • Several sites: just say "change this on site X"; Claude learns from the connection which sites it can reach.
ChatGPT

Connect ChatGPT in five steps

    Turn on developer mode

    In the web version of ChatGPT, turn on Developer mode in settings. On Business, the workspace admin or owner does this.

    Add RapitekGO as an app

    In the Apps (or Plugins) section, create a new app: address https://rapitekgo.com/mcp, authentication OAuth.

    Press "Scan Tools"

    ChatGPT takes you to the RapitekGO sign-in screen.

    Sign in and enter your verification code

    Sign in with your RapitekGO account and enter the code from your authenticator app.

    Choose sites and permissions

    ChatGPT reaches only the sites you choose, with the permissions you choose; it may also ask for your confirmation before write actions.

On Business, once the admin publishes the app, ChatGPT uses a snapshot of the tool list from that moment; tools added to RapitekGO later appear when the app is reinstalled.

FAQ

Questions about connecting

Will the assistant publish my site on its own?
Not unless you granted the publish permission. The assistant's changes are written to a draft; publishing is a separate permission and stays your call. You choose the permission when you approve the connection.
Can I connect Claude and ChatGPT at the same time?
Yes. You can keep both assistants connected to the same RapitekGO account; each reaches only the sites you approved.
Can I connect with Gemini?
We have no way to connect the Gemini app today.
How do I disconnect?
On the AI screen in your panel, disconnect from the list of connected apps; from then on the assistant cannot reach your sites. We also recommend removing the connector in the assistant's own settings.
I chose "Register automatically" and it won't connect. What should I do?
Remove the connector, add it again and choose "Use Claude's published identity" when asked for an OAuth client.
